Premier's Orchestral Series keyboards are superbly finished with a majestic sound. The note bars - highest quality Honduras rosewood - are 'stretch' tuned so that they become progressively sharper as you move up the instrument which is more pleasing to the ear than basic equal-temperament tuning. All tuning is carried out electronically in carefully controlled conditions of temperature and humidity in the UK. The excellent note bar sound is improved further by the resonator cap-settings which have been calculated scientifically for optimum acoustic output. The 4.3 octave marimba features wide note bars and a new frame which is fully height adjustable and disassembles into four pieces plus resonators and note bars for easier transportation.

The Recital Series marimbas deliver truly great sound quality but are lighter in weight and take up less room than orchestral models. The 5.0 octave model with a range of C2-C7 boasts Honduras Rosewood notes allowing for a beautiful sound through its entire range right down to the last half octave of the instrument. The enormously popular 4.3 octave model has a range of A2-C7 and features light rosewood note bars. Both models are fully height-adjustable with Premier’s signature resonators ensuring impressive sound projection.
